About me

I am a Strategic and International Management Professor at EBS Universität, Germany. I have held a permanent position at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) and a visiting position at IESE Business School (Spain).

My research interests are organizational adaptation and strategic renewal, inter-organizational strategy making (including strategic alliances and business ecosystems), the control of modern organizational work, sustainable organizational growth and the role of strategy in addressing climate change, and the management of professional service firms (PSFs). My teaching at all levels are also focused on these topics.

I have served in various roles at EBS Business School (Dean, Vice Dean Research, Group Head, Doctoral Program Academic Director, etc.), on the editorial board of the Journal of Management, and in professional associations, including the German Academic Association for Business Research (VHB, Strategy Commission) and the Strategic Management Society.
